The video discusses how cyber criminals are using OneNote files to spread malware. The attackers attach a malicious file to a OneNote document and send it via email, typically with a fake button that runs the file. However, opening the OneNote file alone will not infect the computer, and the user needs to click on the script or executable to get infected. Although OneNote pops up a warning box before opening the attachment, people often click through it. In this video I also discuss ways to protect against this type of malware, as well as another crazy virus technique I just learned about recently.
