The Biggest Reason We Need Quantum Computers

Posted by admin
Quantum computing hype is at its peak. We pour billions of dollars into this field despite the macroeconomic downturn. It looks like new and exciting developments come out every month. Despite all of that, reliable quantum hardware or useful quantum algorithms aren’t in sight. So, why are we still doing this? I got curious and spent the last few weeks learning about the deep reasons for this gargantuan investment of money, talent, and effort. In the end, it all made sense. Join me in this video as we explore why we have no choice but to pursue quantum computing and why classical computing is running out of steam. === *SELECT SOURCES + ADDITIONAL READING AND VIDEOS:* *YouTube videos:* • The Quantum Computing Speed Boost Is NOT What You Think by @Lukas-Lab https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdK391DqONc • The Quantum Hype Bubble Is About To Burst by @SabineHossenfelder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBLVtCYHVO8 • Quantum Computers, explained with MKBHD by @CleoAbram https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3fz3dqhN44 *Industry reports & related reading:* • Is winter coming?
