The moment artificial intelligence started to show up in our homes already goes back to the 2000s. Honestly I didn't know that widespread knowledge started with this device. But in hindsight it makes perfect sense From there AI's (r)evolution continued like crazy, from virtual assistants, beating grandmasters in boardgames like chess and go, to the generative AI's we all know today: ChatGPT, Midjourney et cetera. The future of AI though - and the impact on our personal lives - is very unpredictable and uncertain, and only time can tell.
