Steelers cut off veteran substitute quarterback Jones

  • The Pittsburgh Steelers chose to LOLGA make the young quarterback a substitute.

    On Saturday,US Steelers announced a series of layoffs,and veteran backup quarterback Landry Jones was on the table.

    After Jones leaves,two-year-old Josh Dobbs and rookie Mason Rudolph will compete for the post.

    The ability of Jones as a substitute is unquestionable.This decision shows that the Steelers have chosen to put more bets on young talents.Since being selected by the Steelers in the fourth round in 2013,Jones has played in 19 games,starting with 5 of them,with a starting record of 3 wins and 2 losses.A total of 1310 yards were passed,8 touchdowns were made,and 7 were intercepted.
